Time lapses of The Matterhorn

Have you sees something as beautiful this? Time-lapses of the Matterhorn peak in Switzerland make exploring such an environment and exploring this use of technology fun and rewarding.

Time-lapses are some of the coolest forms of photography and video mixed together. This RedBull video blends these mediums together spectacularly. With 30 lapses show off the The Matterhorn, a mountain peak in Switzerland in its beauty. The coolest thing about time-lapses is the way time passes from frame to frame. You get a sense for how the clouds move in the sky. How the light bounces off the environment and how day becomes night and the stars rotate int he sky.

A time-laps is made up from individual images taken from a camera, and stitched together like a cartoon. An Intervalometer allows the picture to be taken hands free from the camera, and at certain intervals. A time-laps is made up of many of images, and the pictures may be taken every 10 seconds or 10 minutes depending on the desired length and look.

The hardest thing about time lapses is when the light in the scene changes. The functions in the camera have to be adjusted to match the setting at the time to make sure the shot is not to bright and to dark.

Now, whenever you see a time-lapse is a video, notice what makes it such a wonderful piece of work. these 30 Lapses certainly are pieces of a great work.
