Do you remember how you got into Minecraft, maybe you play the game, or maybe you are like me and just watch people playing it online.
Minecraft was a game I read about back in 2010 in Game Informer Magazine. I didn't think of it much, just that the world of the game sounded interesting. Later in 2012, I came across the game because of a video on the channel Node. I then searched it up and discovered the world of internet gaming series. Originally I watched a modded series of the game not knowing it wasn't the vanilla game. (I wish I knew what the original series was) Currently I watch only 2 specific YouTubers play the game even though I have only put in about 2 hours playing the game myself.

Xisuma is known for his long standing membership on Hermitcraft. This is the server in which he and others play a vanilla campaign of Minecraft; currently, they are on season 4. He also delves into modded Minecraft with the Hermitcrafters.
Lately, he and his Patreon donators along with others have been playing versions of UHC (Ultimate Hard Core) Minecraft but on a huge epic scale. They call it Extreme UHC. He will also play normal UHC with his fellow hermits on occasion.
When Xisuma started playing Minecraft he was a very bad talker. His content was good and what kept people around. I remember when I first got into Xisuma's video's he would talk about how many tries it would take him to say some of the most simple things. He is much better now and jokes about his original voice, often times doing and impersonation of himself in a very monotone and Unenthusiastic voice. As a note, he has upgraded his audio equipment so his voice is better, but in general, he is a much better speaker.
Listen to the way he was...
The waste land was a project in Hermitcraft Season 2 where Xisuma Mined away all the sand and sandstone blocks, leaving behind only the stone blocks and the shape of the terrain as far as the game would allow you to see. It was a project he worked on during the whole Season 2 on Hermitcraft, and it was quite a sight to see.

I like Xisuma because he is informative and entertaining. He isn't loud or overbearing to watch, he is down to earth and honest. Plus like any YouTuber to watch, I have gotten attached to his personality.

Etho's big accomplishment is that he has been playing in the same single player world of vanilla Minecraft for the last 6 years. Ethos lone play world started around September 30, 2011. This is the upload date for his episode 105: Anew in season 2 when he began the new world. Currently, in march of 2017, he is on episode 486 and still going. When the game changes he updates his world and keeps building. His builds are vast, far reaching, and huge. Some of the things in his world include his man cave and locations where he has terraformed to customize his landscape, what he is calling Biom Enhancement.

Etho has Played many versions of modded Minecraft, from his own Modded World, to TerraFermaCraft, CrackPack, Hermitpack, and Project Ozone, his current modded series. Etho's Modded Minecraft series is one of the best. The scale that he has tried to pursue in this series has been difficult to achieve, but very entertaining. One of his goals is to build a world that interacts without him having to be around, using NPC's, Redstone contraptions that move and do more than their purpose is and much more.
watch his Modded Series from Episode 1.
Ethos is one of my favorites because he is able to push the boundaries of Minecraft on Youtube. Whether it is with his funny tricks and storytelling, to his Restone builds and Modded contraptions. He has managed to stay fresh and relevant over all this time.
