GoPro has always impressed fans and video enthusiasts with their small cameras and great video quality. Over the years there have been more competitor cameras on the market taking up their space. See what has GoPro been up to to improve on the old. Introducing the new hero 5 series cameras from GoPro.
GoPro has continued to improve on their technology from their 3 to the 4th generation cameras and now into their 5th generation technology. With each release of all their tech they show off the potential with the action video out there.
As founder Nick Woodman says, "our product and experience has caught up with our dreams... we're finally building the experience that we've always wanted to."
The New Hero 5 Black camera gets rid of the waterproof housing and integrates waterproofing on the camera. It also gets rid of the front button, like the previous Session cameras accomplished. One button control on the Black with touch Screen on back. An improved Session Camera you stick anywhere and get great video incorporates some new features along with the black Camera.
New Features to the Gopro Cameras includes Voice control, which will be useful for those moments the camera is mounted out of view or reach. The question however with this new implementation is what would be the action with multiple cameras. Would there be a way to talk to one camera specifically. Although the Idea of five cameras taking a burst of 30 images at the same time is appealing.
Needed for some time on the cameras has been good stabilization. The kind of stabilization they implemented will get rid of the small vibrations one might encounter. The suggestion to mount the camera or stabilize it from larger motions is suggested with the cameras being so small. GoPro answers this with their Karma Tech.
Most interesting is Gopro's desire to allow for more interesting cinematography on your Gopro. Karma is there answer to stabilization and drone technologies in house. GoPro now sells Drones and Hand held stabilizers. The drone is one of the most portable on the market.
Other Features include GoPro's Cloud storage and better editing and sharing abilities. Apparently still under development it seems promising.
Gopro Founder Nick Woodman Says, "GoPro is much more than a camera company GoPro is an experience sharing company." It wont be long till you see these all over the action sports world. Get yours and you'll be the early adapter.
